What we know about Jordan-Hare Stadium

Where visiting fans stay

Checked at the source
  • Downtown Auburn. 15 min. Walk south through campus. The Graduate, the Collegiate Hotel and the AC Hotel are downtown, steps from campus, Toomer's Corner and the bars.
  • Grand National, Opelika. 10 min. Drive. The Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort sits on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, 10 minutes from campus. Good for golfers and families.
  • Atlanta. 2 hr. Drive I-85. A fallback if Auburn is full. Make it a day trip and leave early.

Around the stadium

From a specialist guide
Downtown Auburn around Toomer's Corner, where College Street meets Magnolia Avenue at the northeast edge of campus. Moe's Original BBQ and the Olivine rooftop sit a block or two away, and the stadium is a short walk south through campus.

Getting in from the airport

From a specialist guide
ATL Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta. Auburn sits on I-85 within two hours' drive of Atlanta.

Getting to the stadium

Checked at the source
Tiger Transit game-day shuttles to Jordan-Hare Stadium. Accessible shuttle to Gate 14 (west) and Gate 1 (east). Walk from downtown, about 15 min to East side gates.

Tailgating

Checked at the source
Game-day lots open at 8 AM for every home game, so a night kickoff gives you a full day of tailgating. The traditional tailgating areas on the north side of the stadium, including parts of the North Lawn, are cut back during Jordan-Hare North construction, which runs through spring 2029. Set up elsewhere on campus. On-campus RV parking is new for 2026 and must be bought in advance at RevelXP.com or (334) 209-1259. RVs park in the Hayfields on South Donahue Drive and Samford Avenue, enter Friday from 3 PM and leave by 4 PM Sunday. The Coca-Cola Fan Fest and Home Plate Tailgate open before Tiger Walk, and food trucks now park across campus and around the tailgate areas. Tiger Walk Plaza, near the Frank Thomas statue and the Plainsman Park entrance, has live music, a video board and the Tiger Tailgate Show in the hours before the team arrives.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Don't plan to park or tailgate on the north side of the stadium. The north end zone lot is closed and the North Lawn is cut back while the Jordan-Hare North project is built, and Heisman Drive no longer carries foot traffic past the north end.
