Lots open 8 hours before kickoff, no earlier than 8 AM ET. Game-day lots include Northwestern Garage, University Garage, IM Fields, AA, BB, CC, FF, GG, Driving Range, Grass Triangle and Northwest Athletic Complex. Propane grills only, with a 20 lb tank max. No charcoal grills or deep fryers on campus and no grilling in garages. Enclosed portable fireplaces with a screen are allowed, but not in golf course lots. No glass: cans or plastic only. No kegs on campus or in the lots. No stand-alone or amplified speakers, live bands or DJs. RV2 and RV4 sell to the public: $100 in advance or $120 on game day, attached car included. RV lots open at 6 PM the day before and must clear by 10 AM the day after. No fifth wheels in RV1 or RV3. Anchor tents to the maker's spec. In winds of 16 to 30 mph take down tents rated under 15 mph, and all tailgate gear must come down in a high wind warning.

  • Bag policy: One clear bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches or a one-gallon clear bag, plus a small clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Items can't be left at the gates.

  • Harry's Chocolate Shop

    329 W State Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906

    Began as an ice cream parlor and soda fountain, then swapped ice cream for beer after Prohibition. It has been at 329 West State Street ever since and has passed 100 years in business.

    Away fans: the classic Purdue bar; everyone ends up here.

    Indiana's first and oldest drive-in, serving since 1929, with its own root beer. Try the Duane Purvis.
