Tailgating

Checked at the source
Tailgating is open in general outdoor areas of campus, first come, first served, and without a car in most areas staff have marked off. In a non-reserved lot you can set up in front of or behind your car or on open grass. No tailgating in garages, on rooftops or in drive aisles. Set-up starts at 6 AM on game day, or 8 AM in booster lots, and must be cleared by 3 AM after the game. Booster lots are barricaded overnight Friday until they open at 8 AM. Tents up to 12 by 10 feet, secured without ground stakes and never inside a parking spot. Grills must be attended, on level ground and at least 25 feet from buildings and cars. No fire pits or open flames. Fans 21 and over may drink from 6 AM on game day until 3 AM after the game. Open containers stay in your tailgate area, not on sidewalks or streets. Gator Walk Village on the North Lawn between University Avenue and the stadium has bookable tailgate tents, with food trucks on West University Avenue. Gators Fan Fest opens 3 hours before kickoff outside Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center and is free. Gators RV City, Lot 78 at Florida Park, opens at 4 PM Friday and RVs must leave by noon Sunday. It is the only athletics RV lot that allows overnight stays. Call UF Transportation and Parking at 352-392-8048 for non-booster RV parking.
