Tailgating

Checked at the source
Ole Miss tailgates in the Grove and the Circle, and the school says it is open to all, no matter the team. Both close at 5:30 PM Friday and reopen at 6 PM for public set-up, the famous running of the tents. Tents up to 10 x 20 feet, fully extended to count as set. No stakes, and no artificial turf: hay, wheat straw or pine straw only. Grills of every kind, gas, charcoal, electric or wood, are banned on campus, along with heaters. Amplified sound is banned too, and generators must run under 60 dB. Grove vendors set up tents for you. A game-by-game tent tag runs $100 to $200 for non-conference games and $200 to $400 for SEC games, by size. Campus, the Grove and the Circle close 3 hours after the game or at midnight, whichever comes first. RV season parking is sold out for 2026. RVs park in Lot E and Lot H from 5 PM Thursday.
