Tailgating

Checked at the source
Fans tailgate in the pre-sold North Shore lots around the stadium, named by color: Gold, Red, Blue and Green (for example Red 5, Blue 7H, Green 22), plus the Stage AE Lot. Space is sold for parking only, and city police patrol the lots. Lots open five hours before kickoff. Cars may not wait at lot entrances before they open. Cooking grills are fine, but no other open fires and no glass. No tents, beach umbrellas, portable toilets, limos or RVs. No tailgating inside the Champions Garage. Pitt's pregame fan zone on Art Rooney Avenue opens three hours before kickoff, with last call about 45 minutes before. Meet ROC the Panther there after the Panther Prowl. REVELxp sets up and breaks down premium tailgates steps from the stadium. Contact [email protected] or 412-525-4125. Bus and motor home parking is limited. Call PPG Public Parking at 412-231-5746.

After the final whistle

Checked at the source
Walk to Allegheny or North Side station for the T, or walk back over the river to downtown. The Gateway Clipper riverboat to Station Square runs until 30 minutes after Pitt games. North Shore lots are pre-sold and fill the roads, so leaving by car is slow.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Don't drive in hoping to buy parking at the lot: North Shore spaces are pre-sold, and single-game passes are sold ahead on ParkWhiz, SpotHero or ParkMobile. Don't bring cash or a backpack: the stadium is cashless and bags must be clear.
