Tailgating

Checked at the source
Campus tailgating opens at 8 AM for all games unless posted and closes at 10 PM or one hour after the game. Spots on the grass can be claimed from noon on Friday, whatever the kickoff time. Tailgating is limited to designated areas on campus. Check the Fall 2026 tailgating map for public areas; signs mark the no-tailgating zones. General public trailers go on the grass first come, first served and must be placed by hand. Tents up to 10x10 and 20x20 feet are fine and must be anchored with weights. Gas and charcoal grills with covers are allowed; open flames are not. Generators must sit on boards on grass and stay out from under trees. 21 and over only. Kegs and bulk dispensers are banned unless a licensed vendor serves. Drinking games are banned and glass is discouraged. RV lots on university property open at 5:30 PM the evening before each home game. Lots 74 and 81 need a POSSE permit (405-744-7301). Oversized vehicles use Lot 102 on North Boomer Road. No overnight camping outside RV lots. The Alumni Center and Cowboy Corral open 3 hours before kickoff, and the BPS Block Party on Athletic Avenue south of the stadium has kids' activities and meet and greets with Bullet. Reserved full-service tailgates are sold through REVELxp.
