There is no bar district by the stadium in Miami Gardens; the parking lots are the pregame. The University of Miami's own neighborhood, Coral Gables, is about 20 miles south.

Brightline plus stadium shuttle. Hard Rock Stadium; returns from the south side near Gate 3. HRS Express to Hard Rock Stadium via express lanes. Rideshare. Lot 44, Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 25 minute walk.

Every Hurricanes lot (Black, Green, Maroon, Orange, Yellow and ADA) opens 5 hours before kickoff. Arrive together if you want to tailgate together. Tailgate directly behind your car in the 8 x 10 foot space marked on the ground. One parking space per vehicle, and directed parking from the moment lots open. Gas and charcoal grills are allowed, but no open fires or towed grills. Cool and bag charcoal before throwing it out. No kegs, funnels or drinking games. Drink responsibly; intoxicated guests can be thrown out. Box trucks and anything towed, including trailers and grills, are banned. Keep fire lanes clear and music clean.

  • Bag policy: Clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches and small bags up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Bag check near Gates 3, 5, 8 and 14, $12 to $20, card only.
  • Cashless: No cash anywhere: parking, box office, food and retail. Turn cash into a prepaid card at Guest Experience Headquarters.

There is no re-entry. Return Brightline shuttles leave from the south side near Gate 3. Uber Shuttle pickups run after the game from the Lot 18 pedestrian bridge, and regular rideshare pickup is at Lot 44, about a 25 minute walk.

Don't bring cash or a big bag. The stadium takes no cash anywhere, including parking, and only clear bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches get in.
