Tailgating

Checked at the source
Buy a game-day permit online for $25 to $45, or on site for $30 to $60, depending on the game. Lots include Stadium Drive Garage, Regents Drive Garage, Union Lane Garage, Terrapin Trail Garage and lettered and numbered lots such as Lot 1, Lot 4b, Lot 9b, Lot 11b, Lot C1, Lot GG1, Lot YC and Lot Z. Stadium Drive and Fieldhouse Drive close from 4 hours before kickoff until 2 hours after the game. Arrive early to reach lots near the stadium. Buses and RVs cannot park on campus on football game days. Cherry Hill Park in College Park is the suggested alternative.

After the final whistle

Checked at the source
The Quickbus shuttles to the College Park Metro station and campus garages run until one hour after the game. Stadium Drive and Fieldhouse Drive stay closed until 2 hours after the game ends, so drivers should expect a wait.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Don't drive an RV or bus to campus. Game-day parking for buses and RVs on campus is no longer available; Cherry Hill Park, about 10 minutes away, takes RVs.
