Northbound 16th Street closes from Vine to Q Street after the game, and westbound Q Street closes at North 11th. Nebraska posts postgame driving routes for every lot. iPronto return buses leave 30 minutes after the final whistle or at their scheduled time, whichever is later. The Haymarket is a short walk if you want to wait out the traffic.
Get dropped off at the bus cutout northwest of Lot 8, reached from eastbound Salt Creek Roadway. Drop-offs anywhere in the restricted area around the stadium are not allowed.
Don't bring outside food or drink or a diaper bag: since 2025 outside food is banned, and baby bags must meet the clear bag rule. Don't count on cash: the stadium is 100% cashless and has no ATMs.
Public UNL parking opens six hours before kickoff. Donor lots open at 6 AM for kickoffs before 6 PM, and at 11 AM for night games. Stadium Drive closes to cars at 6 AM. Every lot directly around the stadium is for Huskers Athletic Fund donors. One vehicle per space; tailgate only in front of or behind your own stall. Lots open at 6 AM for kickoffs before 6 PM, 11 AM for night games, and there is no overnight parking.

Graduate Lincoln, Hyatt Place, Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard and Residence Inn all sit in the Haymarket, next to the bars and the Railyard. Downtown Lincoln: 15 min by Walk north about half a mile. Close to Duffy's and the State Capitol, with city garages for $20 to $35 on game day.
The Historic Haymarket sits just southwest of the stadium, under half a mile away, with Barry's, the N Zone, Brewsky's and Bierhaus all on its blocks. Duffy's and the O Street bars are a few blocks further south.
Free 30 to 45 minute tours start at Gate 11 and take you onto Tom Osborne Field and into the Hall of Champions. Wednesday to Friday, noon to 3:30 PM, through October 23, 2026. Register online at least two weeks ahead; groups of 10 to 100. No tours Thursday to Sunday of home game weeks.
The national championship and Heisman trophies are in the Osborne Legacy Complex lobby, open Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30 AM to 4 PM. It is closed Friday and Saturday of home game weeks.
Self-guided: the Bob Devaney statue outside Gate 20, the Tom Osborne statue outside the Osborne Legacy Complex, and the Hall of Fame Plaza and Legacy Statue east of the stadium.

Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff, premium entries two hours before, student gates 2.5 hours before. Enter at the gate on your ticket; Gates 1, 6 and 8 are closed all of 2026, and no one gets in after the fourth quarter starts.
Memorial Stadium is 100% cashless, with no ATMs inside or just outside.
No outside food or drink; empty water bottles are fine for the fountains. Beer sales need a valid ID, two drinks per purchase, and stop at the end of the third quarter.
No re-entry. No coolers, chair backs, lawn chairs, noisemakers, glass or cans, flags on poles, selfie sticks or open umbrellas. Seat cushions without backs are allowed, and there is no storage.
UNL sells public game-day parking for $15, $20 or $25 by card, opening six hours before kickoff. Reserve on ParkMobile, print the QR code and put it on the dashboard, and arrive 90 minutes before kickoff.
City Park and Go garages in the Haymarket, Carriage Park and Center Park charge $20 to $35 on game day; the Pinnacle Bank Arena garage is $35. Street meters are $1.50 an hour, or $15 all day in Passport Zone 90.
All lots right around the stadium are for Huskers Athletic Fund donors with a pass. Visiting fans should use UNL public lots, city garages or the iPronto shuttle.
Single-game accessible parking is first come, first served at 14th and U Streets and the Lot 9 garage at 14th and Avery Avenue for $25. Metered spots on 14th and Vine are free with a disability permit.
One clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, plus a hand-size bag up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Diaper bags must follow the clear bag rule. Approved medical bags are allowed after inspection.
