Roads around the stadium stay closed to cars until the game ends, so expect a slow exit from campus lots. Park and ride shuttles start their return runs in the fourth quarter.
Don't count on finding a free spot near the stadium. Public lots are few, first come, first served, and fill fast. Use a park and ride shuttle instead.
Tailgating set-up starts at 6 AM on game day in general campus areas and 8 AM in booster lots, whatever the kickoff time. All set-ups must be cleared by 3 AM after the game. Tailgating is open in general outdoor areas of campus, first come, first served, and without a car in most areas staff have marked off. In a non-reserved lot you can set up in front of or behind your car or on open grass. No tailgating in garages, on rooftops or in drive aisles.
Downtown Gainesville: Rideshare or drive to a park and ride. Hampton Inn & Suites Gainesville Downtown is a Gators hotel partner, and downtown has the bars and live music for Friday night. Midtown, steps from campus, fills with game day specials and fans in orange and blue.
The team walks into the north end of the stadium, by University Avenue, 2 hours and 25 minutes before kickoff.

Public accessible parking is in Lot 109, with a free lift-equipped shuttle from 3 hours before kickoff.
