The core of campus stays closed to cars until about 2.5 hours after the game, and some streets turn one-way until traffic clears. The free Crimson Ride shuttle runs until 1.5 hours after the game, and the downtown shuttle until 1 hour after.
Three rideshare zones: Thomas Street behind Publix, Hackberry Lane next to Chimes Condos, and Bryce Lawn Drive by the Randall Welcome Center (pregame only). No cars, rideshares or golf carts enter the core of campus from 4 hours before kickoff to about 90 minutes after the game.
Don't try to drive into the core of campus after the 4-hour mark: roads close and you need a game-day permit to get through.
Public lots and the Crimson Ride shuttle open at 7 AM on game day. Quad setup can start at 8 AM on Friday. Public tailgating is free, first come, first served on the west side of the Quad. Tailgating on Woods Quad is not allowed.
Downtown Tuscaloosa: 20 min by Downtown shuttle from the Intermodal Facility, or walk about a mile. Restaurants and bars, free parking at the Intermodal Facility, and a $1 game-day shuttle.
The Quad and University Boulevard sit next to the stadium on campus. Downtown Tuscaloosa is about a mile west, linked by a game-day shuttle from the Intermodal Facility.
Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium tour at 11 AM Monday to Friday, $30 per person, 35 people per tour. Sees the home locker room, the recruiting room and a walk by the field. No tours on weekends or the Friday before a home game. Buy online from one month ahead; no walk-ups.
The Paul W. Bryant Museum traces Alabama football since 1892. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Adults $5, K-12 $3, under 5 free.
Two nights: arrive Friday to see campus and the Quad set up, play Saturday, leave Sunday after the traffic clears.
