Fans tailgate in the grass lots south of 17th Street and north of 14th Street between Fess and Forrest Avenues, and in the stadium lots. Fans without a lot spot can walk over and join in. In the Park Avenue and Forrest Avenue grass lots, attendants fill cars front to back in order of arrival. Arrive together if you want to park next to friends. Set up behind or in front of your vehicle. Tents no larger than 10 x 10 feet. No saving spaces, box trucks, trailers or outside catering. Fire pits must be UL-listed and raised off the ground. Don't dump fire remains on the ground. RV lots open at 6 PM the night before and you can stay until noon Sunday. No hookups. The Bell Tower RV lot at 1630 East 17th Street costs $350 to $550 a game.

IU offers tours of Memorial Stadium, Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall and Cook Hall. Request one through IU Athletics ahead of your trip. About 2 hours 15 minutes before kickoff the team, cheerleaders and the Marching Hundred walk from Assembly Hall to Memorial Stadium between lines of fans.

Don't arrive without a parking pass for the grass lots. They must be bought in advance and 2026 prepaid parking is sold out, so plan on a $50 day-of lot or the free Atwater Garage.
