  • Downtown Tuscaloosa. 20 min. Downtown shuttle from the Intermodal Facility, or walk about a mile. Restaurants and bars, free parking at the Intermodal Facility, and a $1 game-day shuttle.
  • University Mall area. 20 to 30 min. University Mall shuttle. Chain hotels near the mall. Park free at the mall and ride the $20 round-trip shuttle.
  • Birmingham. 1 hr. car or Tide Express bus. Bigger hotel supply about 60 miles away if Tuscaloosa is full.

The Quad and University Boulevard sit next to the stadium on campus. Downtown Tuscaloosa is about a mile west, linked by a game-day shuttle from the Intermodal Facility.

Downtown Tuscaloosa Shuttle to 12th Street behind Evergreen Cemetery. University Mall Shuttle. 12th Ave., south side of the stadium. Crimson Ride. The Quad. Tide Express from Birmingham to Campus.

Public tailgating is free, first come, first served on the west side of the Quad. Tailgating on Woods Quad is not allowed. Setup on campus can start at 8 AM on Friday before a home game. Everything must be gone by 10 AM Sunday. Charcoal grills only. No fire pits, open flames or portable generators. Keep a fire extinguisher within 15 feet. Gameday Done Right sells reserved tailgate setups (205-535-4647). Free spaces need no reservation. Campus RV lots open no earlier than 6 PM Friday and RVs must leave by noon Sunday. Spaces are 25 x 45 ft with no hookups. Book single-game passes at reserve.imclutch.com/ua. Restroom trailers sit at the northeast, northwest, west and east sides of the Quad and near Foster Auditorium.

Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium tour at 11 AM Monday to Friday, $30 per person, 35 people per tour. Sees the home locker room, the recruiting room and a walk by the field. No tours on weekends or the Friday before a home game. Buy online from one month ahead; no walk-ups. The Paul W. Bryant Museum traces Alabama football since 1892. Open Tuesday to Sunday. Adults $5, K-12 $3, under 5 free.

After the final whistle

The core of campus stays closed to cars until about 2.5 hours after the game, and some streets turn one-way until traffic clears. The free Crimson Ride shuttle runs until 1.5 hours after the game, and the downtown shuttle until 1 hour after.
