Rideshare from Anywhere in Louisville. 3rd St and Central Ave (Jim Patterson Stadium) or Crittenden Dr and Central Ave.
Leaving after the game
Download Waze, Louisville Athletics' traffic partner, for live routes to and from your lot. Left turns onto Floyd St. from Central Avenue are blocked before games.
Rideshare
Two Uber and Lyft pickup and drop-off spots: the corner of 3rd St and Central Ave in front of Jim Patterson Stadium, and the corner of Crittenden Dr and Central Ave.
The mistake to avoid
Don't count on Kentucky Expo Center parking: it closes to game parking when the Expo Center hosts its own events, as it did for Louder Than Life in 2026.
Parking and tailgating
Purple, Red, White, Green and Yellow lots. Purple is speed parking, filled north to south; the others let you pick your own space, which makes it easier to tailgate with friends. Meet at the 'Meet to Park' staging area to arrive together.
Where to stay
Downtown Louisville: 15 to 20 min by car or rideshare. Fourth Street Live!, Museum Row and the Louisville Slugger Museum. Old Louisville: 10 min by car or rideshare. The country's largest collection of restored Victorian homes, with breweries and the Speed Art Museum.
Around the stadium
Central Avenue, Louisville's sports corridor, links the stadium with Churchill Downs and the Kentucky Exposition Center, all within about a mile. Downtown bars like Fourth Street Live! are a short drive north.
How long to stay
Two nights: arrive Friday for downtown and bourbon, play Saturday, leave Sunday.
