What we know about SoFi Stadium

Where visiting fans stay

Checked at the source
  • LAX / Century Boulevard hotel corridor. Metro C or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center, then the free SoFi game-day shuttle (every 10 minutes or less). The best base. It sits two to three miles from the stadium, packed with brand hotels. The official Metro game-day route runs a free shuttle to SoFi from Bay 8 at the LAX/Metro Transit Center. That's where the C Line, K Line and buses meet. You can fly in and skip a car entirely.
  • Downtown Inglewood / Market Street. Metro K Line to Downtown Inglewood, then Metro Line 212 or rideshare. On game days the official free shuttle runs from LAX/Metro Transit Center instead.. This is the closest real neighborhood, on the Metro K Line's Downtown Inglewood station. It is not the game-day route. Metro and SoFi send K Line riders on to LAX/Metro Transit Center for the free shuttle. Inglewood says the gap from the K Line to the stadium is 1.5 to 2 miles, too far to walk. Metro Line 212 runs to Prairie/Kelso by the stadium, about 16 minutes. Change coming: a $261M mobility program adds a hub at Florence and Market with a bridge to the station. Streetscape work starts November 2026, bus lanes follow in 2027. None of it is open yet.
  • Santa Monica or Downtown LA. Metro C/K Line via LAX/Metro Transit Center + free shuttle, or rideshare. Pick these only if the trip is about Los Angeles, not the game. Neither has a direct transit run to SoFi. You'll end up on a rideshare or a two-leg Metro trip through LAX/Metro Transit Center. Post-game surge pricing from Inglewood is the worst part of the day.

Around the stadium

Checked at the source
The Hollywood Park retail district, The Shops at Hollywood Park, now has a real food and entertainment cluster on the stadium campus: Cosm, Cinepolis Luxury Cinemas, The Meeting Spot, JD Sports, Iconix Fitness. Raising Cane's, The Melt, Panini Kabob Grill, Lan Noodle and Rhythm Bar and Lounge were announced in May 2025. But there are zero hotel rooms on campus for the 2026 season. The Kali Hotel is set to open spring 2027, per its own site heading (its meta-description says winter 2026, but go with the heading). So staying right at the stadium isn't an option for 2026, even though eating and drinking there now is. Don't recommend staying there until the hotel actually opens and takes bookings.

Getting in from the airport

From a specialist guide
LAX, Los Angeles International. The LAX hotel corridor on Century Boulevard is the recommended place to stay, served by hotel courtesy shuttles from the terminals.

Getting to the stadium

Checked at the source
Take the Metro C Line or K Line to LAX/Metro Transit Center. Then catch the free SoFi Stadium shuttle. Buses use the lot on the southeast side of Prairie Avenue and Arbor Vitae Street. It's a short walk to the stadium, passing the NFL Network building. SoFi shuttle service window. Shuttles run every 10 minutes or less starting three hours before kickoff. Return service starts at the fourth quarter and runs until 90 minutes after the game. Culver CityBus Line 99 Express. GTrans Line 7X.

Tailgating

Checked at the source
You need a car. SoFi runs the strictest tailgate policy of any West Coast NFL venue. Tailgating happens in one pass-gated zone and nowhere else. Fans on the free Metro shuttle cannot tailgate at all. There is no walk-up tailgate area. You cannot enter the campus perimeter without a game ticket. Tailgate activities are only allowed in the Hyundai Pink Zone, and you need an advance Hyundai Pink Zone Parking Pass.

Getting in

Checked at the source
  • Bag policy: Clear bags only: plastic, vinyl or PVC, up to 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. A small non-clear bag is allowed too, up to 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches, with or without a strap. Exceptions: medical bags, diaper bags with medically necessary items, and breast-pump cases. All of these get extra screening. A paid bag valet holds bags that don't meet the rules, including strollers.
  • Re-entry: No re-entry. Guests can't leave and come back on the same ticket. The only exception is an emergency, and a gate supervisor has to approve it.
  • Prohibited items: Banned items include umbrellas of any kind, since the roof is an open-sided canopy and rain gets in. Also banned: cameras with detachable lenses or lenses over 6 inches, seat cushions with pockets or hard materials, banners or signs bigger than 3 feet by 5 feet, poles that aren't soft bendable plastic under 2 feet, noisemakers, air horns, and strollers (use the valet). You can bring in one factory-sealed 20oz water bottle, plus an empty clear non-metal bottle to refill at hydration stations.

Touring the stadium

Checked at the source
Rally Days, the day before a home game. Book through Ticketmaster. SoFi does not publish a release window. Contact [email protected] or (424) 541-9650. Price not on the venue page. Parking is free with tour tickets. Standard tour runs about 2 hours with field access, 60 to 75 minutes without. https://www.sofistadium.com/stadium/stadium-tours

After the final whistle

From a specialist guide
No official time is published for getting out after the game. Here's what you can plan on: the free shuttle to LAX/Metro Transit Center starts at the beginning of the 4th quarter and runs 90 minutes after the final whistle. Leaving late works, but don't push past that window. Rideshare funnels to one pickup point at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Don't book Downtown LA or Hollywood expecting a quick trip to the stadium. Neither has a direct rail line to SoFi. Post-game rideshare pickup is one choke point at Kareem Court and Manchester Boulevard. Also don't treat the K Line's Downtown Inglewood station as the game-day stop. The official route sends you to LAX/Metro Transit Center for the free shuttle instead.

Bars near the stadium

Checked at the source
  • Rock & Brews El Segundo

143 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245

This is the strongest Chargers pick near SoFi: an official Bolt Fam bar on El Segundo's Main Street, four miles from the stadium. It's built around a 28-foot LED video wall with banks of TVs around it.

Away fans: mixed crowd. An official Bolt Fam bar that also shows every Rams game.

  • Brewport Tap House & Kitchen

204 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245

The other half of the El Segundo pairing, and the more interesting room of the two. Brewport runs a self-pour setup: you get a card and pour your own from a wall of over 20 taps of craft beer, cider, seltzer, and kombucha, paying by the ounce.

Away fans: mixed crowd. Official Bolt Fam bar, neighborhood-craft feel.

  • American Junkie

68 Pier Ave, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

American Junkie sits on Pier Avenue, the pedestrian strip down to the Hermosa Beach pier, and has openly aligned with the Chargers. The club's own photo coverage of a Wild Card watch party was shot here, and Charger Girls have appeared.

Away fans: mostly home fans. The closest thing to a self-declared home bar.

  • Tom's Watch Bar Inglewood

    3900 W Century Blvd, Inglewood, CA 90303

Opened in early December 2025 as the 19th Tom's Watch Bar, taking over the building that was Cork & Batter. It's built around an oversized stadium-screen wall with a 360-degree viewing wrap, with a rooftop bar and lounge above the main floor.

Away fans: mixed crowd, structurally neutral. Serves SoFi, Intuit Dome, the Forum, and YouTube Theater.
