What we know about Lambeau Field
Where visiting fans stay
Checked at the source- Titletown District / Ashwaubenon. 3 min by walk. The Packers built their own bar district across Ridge Road from the stadium. It has Hinterland brewery, Taverne in the Sky and Lodge Kohler, BelAir Cantina, Homefield Pub + Social, 46 Below, and 1919 Kitchen & Tap inside the Lambeau atrium. This is the only walk-to-the-game option in Green Bay. It solves the transport problem. The catch is rooms. Lodge Kohler is the one hotel here. It sits 0.1 miles from the gate. Its site says rooms open for booking the night the NFL releases the schedule.
- Downtown Green Bay. 12 min. free 'Lambeau Leap' Green Bay Metro gameday bus from the downtown Metro center. Green Bay does have a downtown worth staying in. It has bars and restaurants. The free 'Lambeau Leap' gameday bus runs from the Green Bay Metro center downtown to Lambeau. The round trip takes 20 to 25 minutes, about 10 minutes each way. It costs nothing. No parking problem, no rideshare surge. For a fan without a car, this is the best value in town.
- Airport-area hotels. 25 min. free 'Cheesehead' Green Bay Metro gameday bus (40-50 min round trip). Fans often skip the airport strip, thinking it's dead. The free 'Cheesehead' gameday bus serves the airport and nearby hotels. A room out here gets you a free ride to the gate and back. These hotels also tend to open past the two-night minimum later than stadium-area ones.
- Appleton / Fox Cities. 39 min by car (32. Appleton sits 8 miles out and is the real overflow option once Green Bay sells out, which it does. It's 39 minutes from Lambeau and has its own airport. But no free bus runs from Appleton. Booking here means a rental car or a long taxi ride. Only choose it if Green Bay is fully booked.

Checked at the sourceGetting in
Checked at the source- Bag policy: Bags allowed: clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags up to 12 by 6 by 12 inches, a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small non-clear bag up to 4.5 by 6.5 inches.
- Re-entry: Re-entry works only as a pre-kickoff exit scan in the Atrium. The window runs from six to four hours before kickoff, at one named gate. Leave without that exit scan, or leave after you've been scanned in for the game, and you can't come back.
- Prohibited items: Banned items: umbrellas, coolers, strollers, wagons, firearms and weapons, video cameras, still cameras with lenses over 12 inches, unauthorized banners and signs, noisemakers, and oversized seats. Seat-back rentals are available inside instead.

1963 Holmgren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304
This is the biggest pre-game operation in Green Bay. It feels more like a festival than a bar, with a roof over only part of it.
Away fans: mixed, welcoming. The scale and volume make it neutral ground.
The Bar - Holmgren Way
Holmgren Way, Green Bay, WI
This bar is the region's tailgate logistics hub. It runs shuttle buses from five sister venues: downtown Appleton, East Green Bay, West Appleton, Oshkosh, and Wausau.
Away fans: mostly home fans, but visitor-friendly by design. It sells tailgate packages for every game, including Bears, Vikings, and Lions.
Kroll's West
1990 S Ridge Road, Green Bay, WI 54304
Kroll's is the heritage pick, the place that shows the real Green Bay, not just the tailgate. The family started serving meals at their hotel in 1931 and opened the first Kroll's restaurant in 1936 on Main Street.
Away fans: mixed. It works as much as a restaurant as a bar.
Anduzzi's Sports Club - Stadium District
1992 Holmgren Way, Green Bay, WI 54304
Anduzzi's opened in 1999 and has grown into a three-site Green Bay group. The Holmgren Way branch matters most on a Sunday.
Away fans: mixed. It runs Packers gameday events and college watch parties.
