Where visiting fans stay
Central Business District
8 min on foot. The CBD makes this the best-sited stadium in the NFL. Most big hotels between the French Quarter and the Superdome sit a mile or less away, and you can walk most of it.
French Quarter
25 min on foot. The Quarter is not next to the Superdome. It sits at least a mile away at its nearest edge, and farther if you go deeper in.
Along the 46 Rampart-Loyola streetcar line
10 min by streetcar. There is no line called Loyola-UPT. RTA runs five streetcar lines: 12 St.

The Rusty Nail runs a real Saints tradition. Every Sunday in season, it pours $13 domestic buckets and gives $1 from each to Team Gleason, the nonprofit started by former Saints safety Steve Gleason. His blocked punt against Atlanta, at the Superdome's 2006 reopening, is the most emotional play in team history.
Opens 9am on Saints home gamedays. Opens 11am other Sundays, and 4pm Monday to Friday. Order charbroiled oysters and a bucket. Book private events at [email protected] or (504) 525-5515.
Two former LSU basketball walk-ons started Walk-On's. It grew out of Baton Rouge into a big Louisiana sports-dining chain. Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who won Super Bowl XLIV, is a co-owner.
Open daily, 11am to 11pm Sunday through Thursday. Open 11am to midnight Friday and Saturday. Kitchen closes an hour before the doors. Call (504) 309-6530. No shuttle needed.

Gates, bags, payment and access at Caesars Superdome.
The Saints use 100% mobile tickets and parking passes, through the Saints app or the SeatGeek app. Add your tickets and parking pass to your phone before you leave for the stadium. Your ticket doubles as your Personal Game Plan with your gate assignment. Ticketmaster still sells tickets for non-Saints Superdome events.
Your gate is printed on your ticket, not on a published chart. The venue tells fans to enter through the gate noted on their ticket. The mobile ticket's Personal Game Plan shows your entry and exit gates based on your seat. Check your own ticket rather than guessing from a general map. A partial chart covers only premium and ADA gates: Gate A Ground, Gate C Ground, Gate G Ground, Gate C Plaza, Gate G Plaza. The venue notes entry location varies per event.
For Saints games: one clear plastic bag up to 12"x6"x12", or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small clutch bag 6.5"x4.5". Coolers, backpacks, and luggage are not allowed. The Superdome's own stadium guide gives a different order for non-NFL events: max bag size 12" wide by 12" high by 6" deep, and it must be clear. So the event type changes the shape allowed. No exception is listed for medical items, diapers, cameras, or breast pumps.
No outside food or drink. No backpacks. No large banners, sticks, bats, or poles. No selfie sticks. No video cameras, though hand-held still cameras with a lens 6 inches or less are fine. No laser pointers. No noisemakers or whistles. No glitter or helium balloons. No vapes. No laptops, a real trap if you're arriving straight from a business meeting.
The Superdome runs a no re-entry policy stadium-wide. Once you leave the stadium perimeter, you cannot come back in. If you must leave and return, ask an Experience Ambassador.
Cashless only, across concessions, merchandise, and parking. Cash is not accepted. Cash-to-card kiosks sit at Gate B Atrium 100 Level, Gate H Atrium 200 Level, and Section 515, loading up to $500 onto a card.
This is the only venue of the five that posts prices. For the 2026 season, the Saints and Legends Global list a $6 Fan Friendly menu: $6.00 per item for select draft beer, hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, nachos, and Dasani water. The club says beer prices dropped overall and most beverage prices held flat from last year. No full price list beyond the value menu is posted.
Only partial dietary info is posted. The Saints stadium guide lists one stand, Sweet Soulfood, with vegan and vegetarian options. No allergen chart, gluten-free, halal, or kosher info is published.
ADA entry differs from general admission by gate. Gate A Ground serves ADA, Suite Holders, and North Club. Gate C Ground serves ADA and Caesars Rewards Legacy Club. Gate G Ground serves ADA and Signature Club. All three sit at ground level. KultureCity also runs dedicated entry gates around the Superdome that are less crowded and quieter, for guests with sensory issues.
Accessible ticket exchanges happen before the game or on game day at Gate A Ground, based on availability. Requests for aid or service must come at least 30 business days before the event, roughly six weeks out, the longest lead time of the five venues here. Sign language requests carry the same 30-business-day notice. Call 504.587.3990.
KultureCity sensory bags are free with photo ID at Guest Relations, Gate F Plaza Level. There's a sensory room at the Gate A Loge Level Connector. Quiet Rooms sit on the 200 Club Level in the Claiborne Club Lounge (Glass Room #1). Lower-stimulation entry gates are also available. Free hearing assistance devices are available at the Guest Relations Center, Gate F Plaza Level, with a government ID.
Rooms for nursing mothers are at the Mercedes-Benz End Zone Club plus plaza, loge, and terrace sections. There are six family restrooms and baby-changing stations on multiple levels. The If Lost Program gives kids a wristband with a guardian's name and phone number, registered at Guest Relations, Gate F Plaza Level. Strollers are allowed if collapsible and stored under the seat, and can be checked at Gate C Plaza Level, the most family-friendly setup of the five venues here.
MSY Louis Armstrong New Orleans International. Take RTA Airport Express route 202 to Elk Place or Union Passenger Terminal for $1.25, or take rideshare or a taxi.
Walk from CBD hotels via Poydras or Girod Street, about 10 minutes from Central Business District. free n/a. 46 Rampart-Loyola streetcar from Canal Street / Union Passenger Terminal. Adult fare $1.25, includes a 2-hour transfer. Youth fare $0.50. There is no line called Loyola-UPT, the 46 Rampart-Loyola covers that Loyola Avenue/UPT leg. No game-day service boost is listed. The 46 has a history of suspensions during Canal/Rampart repair work, so check it is running before you rely on it. Runs along Loyola Avenue, a couple blocks from the dome. RTA stop on Poydras Street from across the city. Across from Gate A Ground Level.
Walk out onto Poydras and keep going to your hotel. No roads to cross, no rail line to catch. No official time is posted, since none is needed.
Two official rideshare zones are listed and they do not match, so check on game day. The venue A-Z lists Poydras St, north of the campus, between Clara St. and Loyola Ave. The Saints A-Z lists Poydras Street between Loyola Avenue and Carondelet Street. Both sit on Poydras. Most fans staying in the CBD should just walk and skip the app.
Do not book near the airport in Kenner or across the river in Algiers to save money. You would lose the best part of this trip: walking to the stadium and walking home after, no rideshare, no parking, no hassle. Also do not assume the French Quarter sits next door. For the short walk, book the CBD.
No official parking lot opening time is posted; the venue says it varies by event. It barely matters, since the five main garages are season-ticket holders only, with limited first-come spots in Lot 3. Stadium gates open two hours before kickoff. Champions Square is your best bet, and it works well if you have no car. It's an official pregame tailgate on the stadium plaza, open to walk-ins, opening three hours before kickoff with entertainment running until 45 minutes before. Two catches: you need a game ticket, and there's no re-entry once you pass through the entrances, so don't leave to grab food elsewhere. The venue also bans unofficial tailgating anywhere on the campus, so Champions Square is your only legal option.
Central Business District: 8 min on foot. The CBD makes this the best-sited stadium in the NFL. Champions Square / Poydras Street corridor. Champions Square sits right at the dome's door and hosts the official pregame tailgate. Along Poydras you'll find Vitascope Hall (0.1 mi), Borgne (0.2 mi), and Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux (0.2 mi). Here, the whole city center counts as the stadium area. This is the one NFL venue where staying near the stadium and staying downtown mean the same thing.
3. This is the one stadium where the city outranks the game. Since everything is walkable, you waste no travel time on game day. Extra nights buy you more city time.
Moderate. New Orleans has deep hotel inventory for its size, so a normal Saints Sunday is easy to book. Watch for calendar collisions instead: Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Essence Fest, Sugar Bowl, and big conventions spike CBD and Quarter rates and can force minimum-night stays. Check the city calendar before you expect a normal rate.
