How SportsQuest checks stadium facts

Every fact in a SportsQuest stadium guide carries where it came from and how sure we are. This page explains what we check, what the labels mean and how the dates work.

What we check

Each stadium guide is built from a record of that stadium: where visiting fans stay, how to get there, when the lots open, tailgating rules, the bag policy, re-entry, payment, the bars near the ground and the things to do around it.

Researchers fill each field from the team's, the stadium's or the transit operator's own pages where they exist, and from specialist guides where they don't. Each record lists the pages it came from.

What the labels mean

Checked at the source: the fact matches the team's, the stadium's or the operator's own published page.

From a specialist guide: the fact comes from a credible secondary source, such as a travel guide or a local news report, and hasn't been matched to an official page yet.

Anything we couldn't confirm stays in the record and off the page. We would rather leave a question unanswered than guess.

Quick answers at the top of a guide only use facts checked at the source.

Dates

Each guide shows the date its record last changed. That date also goes into the page's structured data and the sitemap, so search engines see when the facts last moved, not when the site was last built.

Kickoff times come from the league schedule. Venue facts never name one game's kickoff time, because the same guide appears on every game at that stadium.

Bars and places

A bar marked closed in the record never reaches a guide. A directory or tourism listing on its own doesn't count as proof a place is still open, because those keep closed places for months.

Prices

Hotel, flight and ticket prices on SportsQuest are live prices from the seller, shown on the trip itself. They never appear in the guides, the reference tables or the versions of our pages made for AI tools, because they change by the minute.

You book with the seller. SportsQuest may earn a commission, which never changes what a guide says.

Corrections

If something in a guide is wrong, tell us at the support page and we will check it against the source and fix it.
