Around the stadium

Checked at the source
The ballpark sits two blocks west of the Inner Harbor. The Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor at 401 W Pratt St is across Pratt Street, and Pickles Pub and Section 771 sit side by side on Washington Boulevard, a block from the gates.

Getting in from the airport

Checked at the source
BWI (Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall). The Light RailLink leaves from the lower level outside Door 19 about every 30 minutes and reaches Camden Station, next to the ballpark, in about 25 minutes. A taxi or rideshare takes about 20 minutes.

Getting to the stadium

Checked at the source
Light RailLink from BWI, about 25 min. Camden Station / Camden Yards stop, next to the ballpark. Walk through the Breezeway to Gate A. Light RailLink from north Baltimore or Hunt Valley, about 20 min. Camden Station / Camden Yards stop, next to the ballpark. MARC Penn Line from Washington, about 60 min. Baltimore Penn Station, about 1.5 miles north. Take the Penn-Camden Light Rail train south to Camden Station (trains leave every 30 minutes), or a rideshare. The Penn Line is the only MARC line with weekend trains. Charm City Circulator Orange Route, about 15 min. The free Orange Route runs east and west on Pratt and Lombard Streets and stops at Camden Yards. Buses come about every 10 minutes. From Mount Vernon or Federal Hill, the Purple Route runs on Charles Street, about a 10 minute walk east of the ballpark, every 13 minutes.

Tailgating

Checked at the source
Tailgating is not allowed in the Orioles parking lots around the ballpark. Pickles Pub and Section 771 sit side by side a block from the gates, and on big days the crowd spills onto Washington Boulevard. This is the local stand-in for a tailgate. You can carry food and one sealed plastic drink of 20 ounces or less inside your one approved clear bag. On Opening Day some local restaurants run ticketed tailgate parties in lots near the stadiums, with food, drinks and buses to the game. Look for them in local food news the week before.

Getting in

Checked at the source
  • Bag policy: One approved bag per person: a clear plastic bag no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, a 1-gallon clear freezer bag, a fanny pack or clutch no larger than 5 x 7 inches, a diaper bag or a medical bag. Camera bags are not allowed. Lockers by Gate H and outside Gates A and C cost $15 by credit card.
  • Cashless: Camden Yards is cashless, including the lots and ticket windows. Stands take Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover, and Apple Pay and Google Pay work at concession stands only. A reverse ATM near Gate D turns cash into a card.
  • Re-entry and smoking: Once you leave you cannot come back in, except in an emergency approved by ballpark staff. The ballpark is smoke-free, including vapes. Umbrellas are allowed if they do not block anyone's view. Alcohol sales stop at the end of the 8th inning or 3.5 hours after first pitch, whichever comes first.

Touring the stadium

Checked at the source
The Orioles tour page says ballpark tours are not available for purchase. Check orioles.com/tours closer to your trip in case dates open for 2027. In 2026 all ticket holders could enter through Gates A and H 2.5 hours before first pitch on Monday to Thursday night games to watch batting practice from Eutaw Street, Legends Park, the Flag Court and the bleachers (sections 90 to 98). Check the 2027 game list before you go.

After the final whistle

Checked at the source
Most carless fans walk to Inner Harbor hotels or take the Light Rail from Camden Station, right outside the ballpark. The city turns traffic outbound at the start of the 7th inning, so drivers can leave fast but streets fill at the last out. To beat the crowd, wait 30 minutes at Pickles Pub or on Pratt Street, then walk or ride.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Counting on the train home after a Sunday game. Light Rail trains between BWI and downtown stop around 8:40pm on Sundays, and the MARC Camden Line runs weekdays only with no trains after night games. Check the last train before you pick a game, or plan a ride.
