Getting to the stadium

Checked at the source
Drive and park in the Raymond James Stadium lots, about 10 min. General Lot at 3676 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, then walk across Dale Mabry Highway. Drive from Tampa International, about 10 min. Spruce Street to North Dale Mabry Highway, lots on the right past the ballpark. Rideshare, about 15 min. North Dale Mabry Highway by the Tarpon Bridge, past Raymond James Stadium.

Getting in

  • Bag policy: Bags must fit within 16 x 16 x 8 inches and are searched. Hard-sided bags, coolers, camera bags, binocular cases and bags on wheels are banned. Everyone passes a metal detector and a pat-down.

After the final whistle

From a specialist guide
Most fans park east of Dale Mabry in the Raymond James Stadium lots and walk across the highway, so leaving starts with that crossing. Exit the lots onto Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd or Himes Avenue rather than queuing for Dale Mabry, which jams after the game.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Bringing outside water. Unlike most Grapefruit League parks, Steinbrenner Field bans all outside food and drink, water included, unless it is for a medical or religious need. Strollers, umbrellas and folding chairs are banned too, and there is no storage and no re-entry.
