From a specialist guide
ATL (Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International). The ballpark is about 20 miles north by car, via I-285 to Exit 19 for Cobb Parkway. Drive and park in a Braves lot, about 25 min. Braves decks in The Battery (Red, Orange, Delta, Truist) or outer lots along Circle 75 Parkway and Interstate North Parkway. Neighborhood streets are permit-only.

Tailgating

Checked at the source
Lot 29 (N29, 3050 Circle 75 Pkwy) is the only Braves lot that allows tailgating. It opens 4 hours before first pitch, and 9:30am for a Sunday 1:30pm game. Grilling is allowed in the grassy area only, and you must bring something to put out the coals. Tents of any kind are banned in every Braves lot. Spaces are for vehicles only, and you must show proof of payment for each space you use. No loud music, no portable restrooms, and no moving barriers. There is no re-entry to Braves lots. Cars left in surface lots 3 hours after the game are towed at the owner's expense.

Getting in

Checked at the source
  • Bag policy: Bags are not allowed. Exceptions: clear bags and small single-compartment clutches up to 5 x 9 inches, medical bags, bags for ADA needs, breast pumps, and diaper bags for guests with infants or toddlers. A paid locker between the Orange and Truist Tower decks opens 2 hours before first pitch and costs from $12 a bag.

Touring the stadium

Checked at the source
Adults $35, kids 12 and under $25, military $27. Buy online in advance, since no tickets are sold on the day. Tours start at the Right Field Gate, run about 1.5 hours and cover about 1.7 miles, with stops at the press box, clubs, Monument Garden and the dugout (no dugout on game days for the 1pm and 2pm tours). Two hours of free parking in the Red Deck. The 2026 schedule had closed dates during some homestands, so check the 2027 calendar. A private pregame tour, a spot on the warning track for batting practice, a gift, preferred parking and a scoreboard message. Book at braves.com/vip.

After the final whistle

From a specialist guide
Most fans drive, so the decks and lots empty slowly onto Cobb Parkway, Windy Ridge Parkway and I-75. To beat the crowd, eat at a Battery restaurant for an hour after the last out. If you are on transit, the last weekday Route 10 bus toward MARTA Arts Center leaves Cumberland Transfer Center at 11:24pm. The free Circulator Blue runs until 12:20am Monday to Saturday but stops at 6:50pm on Sunday.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Bringing a bag. Truist Park bans almost all bags, including backpacks. Only clear bags or single-compartment clutches up to 5 x 9 inches get in, plus medical and diaper bags. Leave yours at the hotel or pay at least $12 for a locker between the Orange and Truist Tower decks.
