Getting in

Checked at the source
  • Bag policy: One clear single-pocket bag up to 12 x 12 x 6 inches, or a non-clear bag up to 9 x 5 x 2 inches. Diaper bags up to 16 x 16 x 8 inches and medical items are allowed. The Brewers do not hold items that are turned away.

After the final whistle

From a specialist guide
All cars leave onto 51st Avenue, and the lot is a long walk from the gates; a free courtesy shuttle helps guests who need it. Many fans skip parking and use rideshare from the zone on 53rd Avenue. To beat the crowd, catch the postgame autographs at the right-field fence and leave 30 minutes later.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Showing up at gate time and missing batting practice. The Brewers hit on practice fields 2 and 3 before the gates open, through a separate gate on 51st Avenue.

Seats and shade at American Family Fields of Phoenix

Where the sun lands on a day game, and which seats stay dry when it rains.

Shade and cover

Checked at the source
  • Upper rows (P and up) of the odd-numbered first-base sections. The roof over the concourse shades these rows for almost the whole game.
  • Sections 105 to 113 along the first-base line. The best shaded seats for the usual 1:10 p.m. first pitch.
  • Sections 100 to 104 behind home plate. The press box shades most seats below it by about 2:30 p.m.
  • Right-field berm above the Brewers bullpen. The one shady part of the lawn for a day game.
  • Concourse. The trellised roof shades the concourse all the way around. The two suites are the only air-conditioned seats.
  • Third-base side. Mostly sunny all game. Shade reaches only the top rows near the end.
