Seats and shade at Daikin Park

Where the sun lands on a day game, and which seats stay dry when it rains.

Shade and cover

From a specialist guide
  • Whole ballpark when the roof is closed. On most hot summer afternoons the roof is closed and the air conditioning is on, so every seat is out of the sun.
  • Club Level sections 205 to 236, back rows. Some of the best sun protection with the roof open, plus an indoor club concourse. More than half the club rows sit under cover.
  • Upper deck sections 408 to 417. Cheaper seats that the roof structure keeps shaded.
  • Sections 150 to 156 in right field, back half. Shaded at any time of day by the 200 level above.
  • Third base side, field level sections 109 to 116, rows 12 and up. With the roof open in the late afternoon, the third base side gets shade first. Avoid sections 129 to 134 near the right field corner, which face the sun.
