Around the stadium

  • Bag policy: Bags up to 12 x 12 inches with a single zipper or flap, clear plastic or vinyl bags up to 12.75 x 6.5 x 12.75 inches, and medical or diaper bags. All other bags go back to the car.
  • Cashless: Cashless everywhere, including parking. Reverse ATMs inside turn cash into a Visa debit card.

After the final whistle

From a specialist guide
The ballpark is squeezed between a butte, I-10 and busy 48th Street, and traffic leaving here is some of the worst in spring training. Both lots let out onto Alameda Drive. Waiting it out is the only real fix, so stay for a drink on the left-field patio or walk back to the resort.

One thing to avoid

From a specialist guide
Arriving 30 minutes before first pitch. The stadium lots fill well before the game, and you lose the best autograph window at the batting practice walkway.
