Seats and shade at American Family Field
Where the sun lands on a day game, and which seats stay dry when it rains.
Shade and cover
From a specialist guide- Whole seating bowl. October games are often played with the roof closed. With the fan-shaped roof shut, every seat is under cover. Call the Roof Hotline at 414-902-4636 on game day for the roof plan.
- Field Level infield boxes, sections 110-125. The roof structure keeps many of these seats out of direct sun even when the roof is open.
- Terrace Level, first base side. With the roof open, the first base side gets more shade than the third base side.
- Terrace Level left field, sections 438-442. These get the most sun with the roof open. Skip them if you want shade.
